Summary
During this transformative time of fellowship, we will honor the legacy of Mrs. Madie M. Smith-Moore and her invaluable contributions as a courageous Black woman. Throughout her career, she spearheaded efforts that led to advancements and upward mobility for Black women in public health. Her efforts highlighted the strength and vibrancy of the African American community in the face of generations of systemic inequality and racism.
